About the Practice

Forever Young Aesthetics is a provider-led medical aesthetics practice located at 33263 Woodward Avenue in Birmingham, Michigan. Marisa Badanjek, FNP-C performs all treatments personally — there are no rotating providers or hand-offs. The practice takes an education-first approach, focusing on natural, gradual results and long-term skin health rather than quick fixes or sales-driven treatment plans.

All treatments are performed by Marisa Badanjek, FNP-C — a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience and specialized training in advanced medical aesthetics. You will always see the same provider at every visit, ensuring continuity of care and a deep understanding of your skin over time.

We are located at 33263 Woodward Avenue in Birmingham, Michigan 48009. We serve patients throughout Oakland County including Bloomfield Hills, Troy, Royal Oak, West Bloomfield, Ferndale, Novi, Southfield, and Clawson. Convenient parking is available on-site.

Our hours are Tuesday through Friday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Wednesday until 7:00 PM), Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Sunday and Monday are by appointment. We recommend booking in advance as appointments fill quickly.

Three things distinguish us. First, you always work directly with Marisa — the sole provider — for every consultation and treatment. Second, every treatment includes a detailed explanation of what is being done, why it works for your specific anatomy, and what realistic results look like. Third, we make recommendations based on medical assessment, never on sales quotas. There are no packages to upsell you into and no pressure to book on the spot.

No. Forever Young Aesthetics is a private pay practice. Medical aesthetic treatments are considered elective procedures and are not covered by insurance regardless of the provider. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, Venmo, and offer Cherry financing to make treatments more accessible.

You can book online at foreveryoungmi.zenoti.com/webstoreNew/services or call us at (248) 220-7437. We recommend booking consultations 1–2 weeks in advance. Some appointment types are available sooner — call if you need something quickly.

Bring a valid photo ID and a list of your current medications or skincare products. If you’re considering a specific treatment and have reference photos of results you like, bringing those can be helpful during your consultation discussion.

Yes, complimentary consultations are available for CO2 laser, RF microneedling, hair restoration, Plasma Pen IQ, and weight management and longevity services. Standard consultations for injectables and skin treatments are included with your first appointment.

Injectables — Botox, Fillers & More

We offer neurotoxin injections (Botox, Jeuveau, and Xeomin), hyaluronic acid dermal fillers (Restylane line), Sculptra, PDO threads, EZ Gel, and PRF facial injections. Each serves a different purpose — some relax muscles, some restore volume, and some stimulate your body’s own collagen over time.

Botox and other neurotoxins temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause dynamic expression lines — around the eyes, forehead, and between the brows. Dermal fillers add volume back to areas that have lost fullness due to aging, such as the cheeks, lips, temples, and under-eye hollows. Many patients benefit from both, but they address different concerns.

Most injectable appointments take 15–30 minutes depending on the areas being treated. Neurotoxin injections are typically quicker, while filler treatments may take longer due to the precision required for natural placement.

Filler results are immediate, though mild swelling may occur and typically settles within 24–48 hours. Neurotoxins like Botox, Jeuveau, and Xeomin take 5–10 days to show full effect as the product gradually relaxes the targeted muscles.

Neurotoxin results typically last 3–4 months. Dermal fillers last 6–18 months depending on the product and treatment area. PDO threads last 12–18 months. Sculptra results can last up to two years. Marisa will create a maintenance schedule based on your individual response.

Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid injectable that works by stimulating your skin’s own collagen production rather than adding immediate volume. Results build gradually over several months, making changes look very natural. It’s ideal for larger areas of volume loss like the cheeks, temples, and jawline, and results can last up to two years — making it one of the longest-lasting injectable options available.

EZ Gel is a polynucleotide-based treatment that uses DNA fragments to support natural cellular regeneration and subtle volume. It is commonly used for the under-eye area, fine lines, and overall skin quality improvement. Unlike traditional fillers, it works gradually over several sessions and does not carry the same risk of the Tyndall effect or migration common with tear trough fillers.

Before treatment, avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements like aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil for one week if medically appropriate. After treatment, avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours and do not massage treated areas unless specifically instructed.

Yes. Many patients combine neurotoxins and dermal fillers in the same visit, or pair injectables with skin treatments like microneedling or VI Peel. Marisa coordinates timing and sequencing to ensure treatments work together safely.

Skin Rejuvenation Treatments

A: We offer AnteAGE microneedling, RF microneedling with Lutronic Genius, VI Chemical Peels, PRP and PRF facial injections, and EZ Gel. These treatments improve skin quality by stimulating collagen, increasing cellular turnover, and addressing texture, tone, and early signs of aging.

Standard microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen production. RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy through those same needles to reach deeper layers of skin, creating additional heat-based collagen stimulation. RF microneedling provides more significant skin tightening and is often recommended for patients with mild skin laxity in addition to texture concerns.

Both start with a small blood draw and use your body’s own growth factors. PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is processed at a lower spin speed than PRP, which keeps more growth factors — including fibrin, white blood cells, and stem cells — intact. This creates a slower, more sustained release compared to PRP, which many providers find produces better results for skin quality and hair restoration.

Most patients need 3–6 treatment sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for optimal results. The exact number depends on your skin condition, the treatment chosen, and your desired outcome. Marisa will outline a personalized timeline during your consultation.

Recovery varies by treatment. EZ Gel and PRF typically have minimal downtime with mild redness or swelling for 24–48 hours. Microneedling RF may cause redness for 1–3 days. A VI Peel involves light peeling starting around day 3 that resolves by day 5–6. Lutronic LASEMD Ultra typically shows mild redness that settles within a day. Detailed aftercare instructions are provided for every treatment.

Initial improvements often appear within 1–2 weeks, but significant results develop over 3–6 months as collagen production increases and skin cells regenerate. Some treatments show immediate effects while others build gradual improvement over several months.

Many of our treatments, including Lutronic LASEMD Ultra and microneedling, are safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types including darker skin tones. Marisa evaluates your skin type at every consultation and adjusts treatment settings accordingly. Some devices are safer than others for deeper skin tones — this is an important conversation to have before any laser or energy-based treatment.

Laser & Energy-Based Treatments

We offer Lutronic LaseMD Ultra, CO2 laser resurfacing, Lutronic Genius RF microneedling, the Total Skin Solution protocol (combining Genius RF and Ultra), Ecotone treatments, and Ellacor micro-coring for skin tightening.

LaseMD Ultra is a non-ablative fractional thulium laser — it improves tone, texture, and pigmentation with minimal downtime, typically 1–3 days of mild redness. CO2 laser is ablative, meaning it removes damaged skin layers to stimulate deeper collagen remodeling. CO2 delivers more significant results for advanced sun damage, texture, and deeper lines, but requires 7–10 days of healing time. CO2 is generally reserved for patients with more significant skin concerns who can plan for the recovery period.

Ellacor is an FDA-cleared device that tightens skin through micro-coring — removing microscopic columns of excess skin tissue without heat or laser energy. This mechanical approach works particularly well for skin laxity in the lower face, neck, abdomen, upper arms, and above the knees. Results develop over several weeks as surrounding tissue contracts and remodels.

The Total Skin Solution is a coordinated protocol combining Lutronic Genius RF microneedling (which tightens deeper skin layers) with Lutronic LaseMD Ultra laser (which brightens surface tone and texture). Together they address both skin firmness and surface quality in one balanced protocol — ideal for patients who want overall improvement rather than a single aggressive treatment.

LASEMD Ultra typically requires 1–3 days of mild redness. CO2 laser treatments involve 7–10 days of healing time. Most patients can return to normal activities within a few days following specific aftercare instructions. Marisa will discuss recovery in detail during your consultation so you can plan accordingly.

Most patients see initial improvement after one treatment, with optimal results developing over 2–3 months. Some concerns benefit from a series of 2–3 treatments spaced several months apart. Your plan depends on your specific skin goals and the technology used.

Before treatment, avoid sun exposure, retinoids, and certain medications. After treatment, protect your skin from sun exposure, avoid harsh products, and follow the specific aftercare routine provided. Detailed pre- and post-treatment instructions are covered during your consultation.

Hair Restoration

We offer two hair restoration options: PRP (platelet-rich plasma) hair therapy and KeraLase hair restoration using the Lutronic Ultra laser with KeraFactor serum.

KeraLase combines the Lutronic Ultra laser with KeraFactor serum to stimulate hair growth. The laser creates microscopic channels in the scalp to dramatically improve absorption of KeraFactor’s proprietary biomimetic growth factors, delivering them directly to the hair follicle. Unlike PRP, no blood draw is required. KeraLase is virtually painless and clinical studies show approximately 38% increase in hair growth and up to 113% increase in hair diameter. The recommended protocol is one treatment every four weeks for six total sessions.

Hair restoration works best for people experiencing early to moderate hair thinning rather than complete baldness. Good candidates include women with diffuse thinning across the crown, men with receding hairlines or crown thinning, and anyone noticing decreased hair density or thickness. The treatments are most effective when hair follicles are still present but producing weak or thin hair.

For KeraLase, the recommended protocol is one treatment every four weeks for six sessions, followed by maintenance sessions every 3–6 months. For PRP, most patients need 3–4 initial treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, then maintenance every 3–4 months.

You might notice some initial shedding in the first few weeks as dormant follicles reset their growth cycle. New hair growth typically becomes visible around 3–6 months, with continued improvement over 6–12 months.

KeraLase is virtually painless. PRP treatments involve injections into the scalp, which can cause mild discomfort. We can apply topical numbing cream to minimize any discomfort. Most patients tolerate both treatments well.

Yes. Hair restoration treatments are effective for women experiencing hair thinning or diffuse hair loss, including post-menopausal hair loss, hormonal hair loss, and genetic thinning. Both KeraLase and PRP are used for female pattern hair loss.

Weight Management & Longevity

We offer wellness consultations, GLP-1 weight management, GLP-1 microdosing, healthy aging with peptides, and sexual health treatments. Every plan begins with a comprehensive wellness consultation to understand your health history and goals before any treatment is recommended.

A wellness consultation is a comprehensive evaluation of your overall health, lifestyle habits, and metabolic function. It includes review of metabolic health, body composition and weight assessment, hormone and metabolic signaling evaluation, and personalized nutrition and lifestyle planning. This is the required first step before beginning any weight management, longevity, or peptide-supported wellness program.

GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) therapies support appetite regulation and metabolic function under medical supervision. We offer both standard GLP-1 weight management and GLP-1 microdosing — a lower-dose approach designed for more gradual metabolic support and improved tolerability. Treatment is personalized and monitored with regular follow-up visits.

Results typically begin within 4–6 weeks, with more significant improvements appearing over 3–6 months. Sustainable weight management is a gradual process focused on long-term improvements. Follow-up appointments are scheduled every 4–6 weeks initially, then every 2–3 months once your protocol is optimized.

Peptide therapies are generally safe when administered by qualified medical professionals. Marisa evaluates your health history and current medications before recommending any peptide protocol and provides ongoing monitoring throughout your treatment.

Vitamin Wellness Shots

We offer four injections, each priced at $30. B12 Energy Shot (methylcobalamin) for energy, nervous system function, and red blood cell formation. Skinny Shot (lipotropic MIC + B12) for fat metabolism support. Immune Boost (Vitamin C + Zinc + Glutathione) for immune support. Vitamin D3 for immune function, bone health, and mood regulation, particularly beneficial for Michigan patients given limited sun exposure.

Vitamin injections deliver nutrients directly into your bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system entirely. This means your cells receive the full concentration of the nutrient. Oral supplements can lose significant potency through digestion and absorption, particularly for people with digestive issues, absorption disorders, or dietary restrictions.

Frequency depends on the specific shot and your health goals. B12 shots are commonly given monthly. Immune support shots may be given weekly during cold and flu season or high-stress periods. Marisa will create a personalized schedule based on your response and goals.

Your first appointment includes a brief consultation and typically takes 15–20 minutes. Follow-up appointments for the injection itself take just a few minutes.

Most patients describe the discomfort as minimal and brief — similar to any small injection. You may experience mild soreness at the injection site for a day or two, but this resolves quickly.

No. Vitamin wellness shots are elective wellness treatments and are not covered by insurance. Each injection is $30. We accept cash, credit cards, check, Cherry financing, and Venmo.

Financing & Payment

Pricing varies by treatment and is discussed in full during your consultation. We believe in transparent pricing- what we quote is what you pay, with no hidden fees. Specific pricing is available on each service page and confirmed at your consultation.
